Say Hello to Babey

This is the little munchkin I'm sitting until Tuesday.

I've only spent a few days with her, but I've become very attached.

Can you blame me?

Babey is a 15-year-old Yorkie who has lost her vision and can only hear really loud bursts of noise. She still walks with bubbly excitement and she can sniff out a scent better than a bloodhound.

According to the PetMD age calculator, Babey is 76 in human years. All we can say is, we're so glad Babey came into our lives. She's such a little inspiration.

We're Spending More on Our Pets

Well this is encouraging to anyone in the pet industry, whether you walk dogs a few times a week or own a pet boutique.

Despite hard economic times, we haven't stopped spending on our pets. In fact, we are spending more than ever before on our furry friends. Check out this funky infographic we discovered over at one of our favorite sites Good.

In addition to posting pet news, photos and personal/business updates here, I'd like to share new pet discoveries with you as well. 

We've recently gotten hooked on Pinterest (join and follow us!). It's a great resource for all things design, home, food, pets, etc. We have a personal account and one for the business. If you're unfamiliar, it's like a virtual corkboard where you can pin things in all types of categories. You'll find inspiring ideas for your kitchen, bedroom, in addition to neat pieces of art and/or daily inspirational quotes and photos.

In my mission to find cute things to "pin" from time to time, I am coming across some pretty paw-some paw-ducts that I think are worth sharing here. 

Today's favorite, since it's so hot out and I feel Agnes could always use some water mid-walk is a product I found on Popwareforpets.com.

Have water cup? Will walk with dog! Agnes is so-so at drinking right out of a bottle and I think these would make the whole process more efficient.
